TUCHEL CAN DELIVER CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TROPHY

Petr Cech believes that Thomas Tuchel can deliver the Champions League trophy for Chelsea this season as reported by media outlet Football London. Petr Cech knows all about winning the Champions League having won the competition while he was a player at the club.
Cech was in goal when Chelsea beat German giants Bayern Munich on penalties in the 2012 Champions League final to win the competition for the first time in their history. He is now the technical and performance director at the club having ended his career a few years ago.

Petr Cech is confident that Tuchel can use his European experience to guide Chelsea to Champions League glory. He talked about how the German tactician led French giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG) to the final last season before they were beaten by Bayern Munich.

Tuchel and PSG could not win the Champions League last season due to the superiority of Bayern. The Bavarian giants secured a 1-0 win in the final to win the trophy at the expense of their French opposition. Kingsley Comanscored the only goal of the game to give Bayern victory. Frenchman Coman was able to win his first Champions League title via his header in the second half.

Petr Cech says Chelsea have a better chance of winning the Champions League with Tuchel. The ex-Borussia Dortmund and Mainz 05 manager has been able to guide the Blues to the last eight of the competition. He was able to lead the team past Spanish La Liga club Atletico Madrid in the first knockout stage and the German has already masterminded a 2-0 away win over FC Porto in the first leg of thequarterfinal tie between the Portuguese team and his team.

The Three Lions of England duo of Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell scored for Tuchel's team either side of the break. With the first leg result, Chelsea have one foot in the semi-finals. The second leg takes place at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.
