Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Raul Jimenez has revealed how Chelsea legend Petr Cech helped him with his head injury. Petr Cech has been the technical and performance director at Chelsea since he retired from football in 2019 and Jimenez talked about him in an exclusive chat with Sky Sports. According to the Wolves striker, Petr Cech was helpful after he sustained a nasty head injury during the game with Arsenal in the Premier League last season.

Ex-Rennes and Arsenal shot stopper Cech knows a lot about head injuries after he sustained a depressed fracture to the skull during a Premier League game with Reading in 2006 and had to wear a head gear for the rest of his career. Cech was injured in a Collison with Reading winger Stephen Hunt.

Jimenez sustained his own head injury during a collision with Arsenal centre back David Luiz in the air. He was then stretchered off after a lengthy treatment on the pitch. The head injury overshadowed the 2-1 win recorded in the Premier League clash at the expense of the Gunners.
Wolves striker Jimenez sat down with Sky Sports to talk about the head injury and how he has been able to recover from it. He revealed how Petr Cech brought one of his helmets to his team's hotel in London alongside the doctor to see if they could make something similar for him.
Jimenez has been able to return to action several months after the head injury in November last year. He made his competitive return on the opening weekend of the new Premier League campaign but he could not save Wolves from going down to a 1-0 defeat at the home of FA Cup champions Leicester City. He was also in the team that lost 1-0 to Tottenham Hotspur and former manager NunoEspirito Santo in a week two league game played last weekend.
