Leroy Sane has backed up Chelsea to signKai Havertz from Leverkusen

Former Manchester City player Leroy Sane is not surprised of Chelsea’s interest on his fellow countrymanKai Havertz and is glad of his teammates gaining attention from the big guns of Premier League. Meanwhile, Sane has departed from the Premier League and joined Bundesliga club Bayern Munich. He has returned to his homeland but at the same time,many of his colleagues are arriving at the English football.


German footballer Timo Werner has already signed the deal with Chelsea leaving the German club RB Leipzig. He will be starting off his first season at the Premier League soon. It seems like Werner will be joined by his teammate and Bayer Leverkusen player Kai Havertz as his performance has attracted interests from various clubs of Europe.

Chelsea is one of the clubs that have shown interest and it seems like the club will be signing another big deal. Sane has said that signing Havertz is quite an opportunity for Chelsea. With the players like Werner and Havertz on the team, the Blues have quite managed to make good transactions. He added this shows that Germany has a good youth academy system.
Meanwhile, Chelsea footballer Antonio Rudiger has addressed the speculations regarding the transfer of Havertz to Stamford Bridge. He has praised the player on his potential and he will be glad to have him on the team. He has seen him play on the German national team and has been impressed by his talent.
With the strong speculation of transfer former Chelsea and Leverkusen player Michael Ballack has suggested that the player should be spending another year at Germany before going to the big shots of Europe. He believes that Havertz is comfortable playing with Leverkusen and is being treated well there.
“Bayer play attractive football and their training facilities are very good. Leverkusen also offer a cautious environment, and as a player you can make mistakes without being the focus of criticism. You should appreciate that,” said Sane.
